Be it the anger, wit and intrinsic sense of fun in Chhotu or the sincerity and gravitas beyond her years in Pari, Kukunoor manages to extract great work out of the two without any touch of artificiality, effort or righteousness.

The other problem, and this is the bigger one, is exotic Rajasthan being peddled in the name of naturalism - the 'leheriya safas' are too pristine, the clothes are too 'costumey.'

A slick and engaging Hindi comedy-drama that is equal parts road movie and fairy tale.

Additionally, the movie features diverse soulful tunes and pans across Rajasthan in a really refreshing manner.
