One More Time

One More Time coasts by on Walken's idiosyncratic charm. He has a warm rapport with Heard, and there's solid support from Ann Magnuson as Paul's prickly sixth wife and Oliver Platt as Paul's long-suffering manager.

The whole cast ... sinks its teeth into the material, which is reasonably meaty.

Many fine small moments pepper the family dramedy "One More Time," but they don't add up to a satisfying enough whole.

In a perfect role that blends Walken-ese eccentricities with the heart of family, [Christopher] Walken shines as Paul Lombard. This is deadpan comedic Walken-ese at its best.
