A film with serious potential marred by a reliance on cliche and a desire to make people happy.

RTHerald Sun (Australia)May 11, 2018

Not so much a feature film as a therapy session where the star is acting as both patient and psychiatrist, Manny Lewis is a distinctly flat experience.

RT3AWMar 20, 2015

Absolutely terrible...Unfunny, aimless and largely pointless, you'd be better off listening to five minutes of any Carl Barron routine than submitting yourself to yet another Australian feature film that apparently had no audience in mind.

RTScreen-Space (Substack)Mar 17, 2015

Carl Barron's brand of moody introspection and manufactured romance is unlikely to connect with old fans or win over many new ones.
