Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland

Both aimless and, more problematically, humorless.

Pamela Springsteen is still firing on all cylinders, but this third entry is missing the energy that made the first sequel such a pleasant surprise.

A slight, very soft recommend. Springsteen is still having fun, though back to back shoot have dampened her enthusiasm. Overall this third entry just lacks energy: blander kills, boring characters. The comedy is ok, but is anyone having fun?

Sleepaway Camp 3 feels like the crew begrudgingly stuck around from the 2nd film for an overtime shift. The results are tired, uninspired, and lazy. Not even Springsteen's charm can save this one.
