Entertaining picture of the highly charged thriller meller kind, mostly because of the likable performance of Ronald Colman in his first screamer.

Bulldog Drummond further signalizes Ronald Colman’s début in talking pictures, and he scores heavily in the new medium. Already a popular star of the silent cinema, he should find his following quadrupled, at least.

Entertaining but primitive early sleuth pic.
