Nothing Left Unsaid: Gloria Vanderbilt & Anderson Cooper

There's an air of performance here that wouldn't be a problem if this were an elaborately made home movie, but as a film meant for the public, airing on our most prestigious cable network no less, it comes across a bit indulgent.

Nothing Left Unsaid offers great insight into the lives of its subjects, but its even greater achievement as a film is the unanswered questions it provokes in its viewers.

Fascinating, disjointed, moving, tiresome, elegant, tacky, fast, slow. There's a little something for everyone here.

Without the momentum provided by a big reveal or a larger, overarching point, the film becomes repetitive, lags.
