Considering how "A Violent Prosecutor" was billed as a prison buddy comedy, relatively little of the action takes place in a prison and the two lead characters similarly have little screen time together.

Perfectly watchable but imminently disposable, it's a film which should be enjoyed by Hwang Jung-min fans, though which perhaps needed a little more innovation and effort

A Violent Prosecutor is a very entertaining film despite its lack of depth, which will definitely satisfy fans of Hollywood mainstream.
