Gary Numan: Android In La La Land is ... as much a love story as it is a traditional music documentary, and while ... structured around the rise-and-fall-and-rise trajectory of Numan's career, it is the personal journey ... that propels the film.

A sweetly compelling music documentary.

The film focuses on real estate and Numan's move from the UK to the US. It's like a celebrity version of APlace in the Sun.

It is the honesty of its subject that stands out. At a time when every celebrity movement is carefully planned, to see a star truly laid bare is fascinating.
