The lack of any real imagination makes "Attack of the Killer Donuts" a chore.

Despite the insane subject matter, this movie manages to be entertaining and funny.

The killer donuts take second stage to the unfunny comedy routines of the human characters, which run on so long it's as if the film is daring its audience to get fed up and walk out.

All heart This is not a great movie, for sure, but it knows it and it is having fun with that very idea. It has some fun bits, and while there is no tension, and the laughs are cheap, it is not necessarily a bad time. Don't judge it too harshly. It is a throwback to a goofier era, with killer clowns and tomatoes.
