Lucid

A film of genre-busting twists and devilish narrative turns that never manages to turn its quirkiness into genuine charm nor its cleverness into real feeling.

A competently handled puzzler whose derivative resolution proves its undoing.

Lucid tries one's patience, more maddening than it is elucidating.

Lacks a sense of enveloping eeriness, of a creeping suspense driving scenes forward. . . . packs all its power into its punchy conclusion.
