A routine teen thriller with some deeply dumb plot points.

"Bedeviled" ultimately embraces clichs rather the subverting them. The evil technology's up to date, but the storytelling's too old-fashioned.

I really loved the concept but the deliver is all wrong.

The whole affair feels tiresomely empty, like a horror with no heart. It should have been a short film.
