The four-and-a-half-hour cut of the filmmaker’s revenge saga is at once terrific and overlong.

Before our very eyes, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair becomes a modern-day Odyssey.

It restores Thurman’s performance to a unified whole rather than presenting it in two disconnected halves, allowing us to see her career-defining work in one gloriously unbroken arc.

The most enjoyable aspect of this re-release is that it feels less like an "extended version" and more like a purposeful restoration. [Full review in Spanish]
