A Boy Called Po

A Boy Called Po is clearly a personal project for everyone involved (many of them have autistic children themselves), and it mostly does what it set out to do.

Well-meaning but, on the whole, intensely inert ...

An earnest drama that could have used a subtler, less didactic approach to its tender subject matter.

While overflowing with good intentions, this woefully contrived drama tackles autism, bullying, single parenting and the grieving process without providing sufficient insight into any of them.
