Washed up, alas, in all senses.

The film looks good, as befits the cinematography of The Black Stallion, Being There and The Right Stuff, and the acting is fine. But the whole thing suffers a little in the telling from a certain sense of déjà vu, however novel the concept.

It is well crafted and pleasant to watch, with its handsome seascapes and fine sailing craft.

This fascinating film, with its beautiful Seychelles setting, carries an obvious message which, cleverly, is never overstated.
