Anguish

Few movies are so conceptually premised on their being seen among strangers in an auditorium; Anguish has an unparalleled ability to make its audience genuinely paranoid, giving each screening the feeling of a one-of-a-kind additional layer to the film.

"Anguish" is just what we needed to wile the rest of the winter away: a slasher movie with metaphysical pretensions.

A Mobius strip-like narrative that constantly turns in on itself.

Fun? Maybe not. But something to write home about.
