Here is a magnificent motion picture that meets the standard of greatness on almost every count. Running a fast 103 minutes, Executive Suite holds the viewer from the opening scene, building absorbingly to a smashing climax.

An all-star cast populates this entertaining drama that makes a skyscraper boardroom seem as filled with conflict, combat, and open wounds as any WWII battlefield.

Something essential in the movie still speaks to me. Maybe you need to have worked in an office for years to understand its enduring appeal.

Extremely skillful construction of the film thoroughly informs us about the characters in a minimum of scenes, without cutting up the action in sketches.
