Aurore gives Agnes Jaoui one of the roles of her life...

At times, the film comes across like a less cerebral version of Mia Hansen-Lve's Things to Come ... but it never loses its easy, digestible tone.

It’s frothy and fun and held together with considerable warmth by Jaoui, who treads a neat line between comedy and believability.

At 50, Aurore is in a state of flux. She's about to become a grandmother, her ex-husband has moved on and menopausal hot flushes are driving her nuts.
