A trite little comedy so jumbled, disconnected and bad you can't believe it doesn't star James Franco.

RTThe Hollywood ReporterOct 2, 2017

Justin Long, whose career was built on mild likeability, suffers for that mildness here, in a film that flounders right along with him.

"Literally, Right Before Aaron" is minor - a spiky indie trifle - but it has a convincing perversity and flair.

Imagine My Best Friend's Wedding with a mopey male protagonist and barely a fraction of the charm or wit.
