Prom King, 2010

The performances are good, the direction and writing feeling personal and ringing true. It's a film with ups and downs that will end up making the viewer feel good through having a complicated yet hopeful lead character.

Consistently nave characters just do not appeal to me, but you cannot deny the sweet and tender qualities this film possesses, and I do think this film is engaging and an easy watch.
