A meandering, unfunny, mostly flat effort, Hidden Strike is a disappointing waste of two immensely likeable stars.

The computer-generated bombast is hardly enough to cover the movie’s shallow script, bland performances, and the bone-dry chemistry between its two leads.

If you're fine with far-fetched fight sequences and clunky dialogues, and so long as you don't dig too deep into the proverbial sands of this film's messages, the desert-set buddy thriller may entertain.

Hidden Strike is nowhere near a good movie and barely qualifies as a mediocre one. Still, it keeps you entertained for one hour and forty-three minutes before completely evaporating from your memory.
