The film tosses in news footage of real people and then cuts to their onscreen counterparts. Which of course makes this whole enterprise even less convincing.

If you take even the slightest interest in politics, book for The Accidental Prime Minister now. It is a film that takes you through an important era in Indian politics and is also entertaining.
