The film is shot in a confusion of surrealistic perspectives.

The making of the film however is Delphine Seyrig... who has a supremely elegant style in comedy and the special gift of never letting on whether she knows she's being funny or not.

The film is altogether more stylish than the recent Hammer horror which dealt with the identical theme.
