Grief

Grief is not a particularly challenging or groundbreaking film. But it is very funny, heartwarming entertainment with an uncompromising gay bent: Imagine The Mary Tyler Moore Show in an alternative universe.

Despite the rich emotional and comic possibilities, Grief is dull (the dialogue is strained)and ultra-modest, which could be a function of its miniscule budget and/or lack of experience of its director, Richard Glatzer.

not worth watching for much beyond its novelty value
