The Score

Cracking cast but a tough watch due to its awkward genre fusion.

If nothing else, this shaggy-dog crime comedy-musical wins points for originality.

The songs can seem to operate on their own plane: When Flynn croons through a window, it’s almost surprising to see his breath mist the glass.

There are no revelations, nor any grand musical numbers. There is no special. What we see is what we get; but maybe that’s enough.
