A self-indulgent romp through standard Neapolitan stereotypes.

This is, for all its longueurs, some ill-advised detours into English and a few tone-deaf jokes, a surprisingly enjoyable package.

Starts off amusingly enough, but the joke wears very thin very quickly, the attempts to satirize the recent vogue for entertainment inspired by the Camorra crime organization largely fall flat.

The film has a great time playing with stereotypes, and each character comes to life with a remarkably layered personality.
