McFarland's doc is clearly a labor of love, and much of the vintage concert footage it contains is undeniably exciting.

Godfathers follows the two as they go about their business, with several scenes juxtaposing their youth to their current status as grizzled vets, their longtime punk outsider status morphed into as normal a middle-class existence.

Godfathers proves in entertaining yet profound fashion that true punks remain hardcore even as they age. As Stigma himself notes in one scene, "Once you're in... you can't get out."

There are two things that make this documentary a must-see. The first is Agnostic Front guitarist and de facto leader, Vinnie Stigma. He's a huge personality that I can watch all day.
