Itch

There’s nothing much wrong with the characters as archetypes, but the screenplay struggles to make them actively interesting.

Itch! has got so much going on that it sometimes loses sight of its theoretical chief menace – an uncontrollable need for relief tied to self-destruction – but it still hangs together well enough as both horror and drama.

Listlessly plays out its predictable zombie scenario, with minimal creativity and no sense of direction.

Once the outbreak happens, the whole movie becomes an exercise in trust. The obvious answer is you cannot trust anyone, but the journey getting there is a gore filled one. The excellent ending will catch viewers off-guard.
