By focusing on what binds those on the pitch and those in the bleachers, Nossa Chape doesn't just wonder if some things are "bigger than the game" -- it proves it.

RTChicago ReaderJun 21, 2018

An extraordinary sports documentary and a compelling human-interest story, this documentary follows the rising Brazilian soccer team Chapecoense after the November 2016 plane crash that killed 19 players and the entire staff.

The Zimbalists... have made another highly accomplished soccer-related documentary (they also made the 2016 film "Pele: Birth of a Legend").

Nossa Chape is a beautiful elegy to the departed and an ode to the strength of those who survived.
