While I wouldn’t call “Enter the Fat Dragon” a good movie, Donnie Yen at least makes it entertaining.

Having said that, even without curbing your expectations too much knowing that this is essentially still a Wong Jing film, Enter the Fat Dragon is a fairly enjoyable piece of Hong Kong cinema.

Fast, nonsensical and energetic enough to keep you occupied under the breezy 95-minute length.

Enter the Fat Dragon is an unexpectedly great time, and is one of the funniest and most action-packed martial arts films from China this year so far, in the finest old school Hong Kong style.
