Roll Red Roll is an intense, provocative look at modern iterations of rape culture, and how becoming the home of an incredibly high-profile crime can reshape a town forever.

It's a very powerful movie. One of the things it demonstrates is how, in our digital age, there's a trail of incrimination that exists that didn't before.

Schwartzman's careful narrative derives its power not just from the archived depravity that gave prosecutors plenty of evidence... but the troubling inquiry - with no simple answers - at the heart of the case.

Roll Red Roll should be mandatory viewing for every teenager, parent and educator in America.
