Lucifer proves that Prithviraj does have a flair for direction, and the ability to amp up the drama, and keep things moving briskly. Next time around, maybe lop off some running time, and tamp down the ear-shattering background music.

There is so much that could have been done with this intriguingly frank and realistic theory on the essentialness of evil... What we get instead is Lucifer's transparent ambition that overwhelms everything else in this enterprise.

The Mohanlal-starrer is bursting with swag, has a genuinely gripping plot and is full of delicious twists and turns resulting in a strong political drama and delicious revenge saga in equal measure.

Lucifer is a mass entertainer that is sure to please the fans and has enough going for to make it an engaging thriller as well.
