I enjoyed Crisis. The performances are first rate and the tension builds throughout to a climax and then an aftermath.

It's a union of crime and politics of the kind that you might expect to find on one of the streaming services, but it's given extra heft by its broad canvas and ambitious segues.

For all of its good intentions, the generic Crisis isn't showing us anything new.

A relatively second-rate script and lackluster direction on Jarecki’s part leaves the film a sadly less than riveting experience.
