This is a movie that’s meant to show off a cool crossover with a lot of action. It knows what it wants to be, and does exactly that. Nothing more.

A mix of animation styles complements the cross-over between Batman's Gotham and TMNT's NY. The film adaptation has a better handle on its action/comedy combo than its comic source, although the film does feel like it has two climaxes

While I can't say it takes itself seriously, it takes itself at the exact appropriate tone. I had a ball!

Nonstop fierce cartoon action with humor in crossover movie.
