Forman vs. Forman

Forman v. Forman, much like the director's life, seems short, even in its thoughtful tribute.

A fine appreciation of a significant director's prodigious life.

Třetíková and Hejna's biographical-political approach might seem overly convenient, but it is certainly close enough to home and perfectly adequate for a 78-minute biopic.

Directors Helena Trestíková and Jakub Hejna know they're dealing with an irrepressible force of nature, so they let Forman tell his story in his own words and stay out of the way.
