For a documentary so heavily front-loaded with well-researched observations on both the cinema of Kung Fu and the genre's persistent presence in the real world, Iron Fists... is a deliriously fun ride.

Before the fadeout it serves as an illuminating, passionately argued tribute to the beauty of martial-arts cinema and its continuing evolution.

Although "Iron Fists And Kung-Fu Kicks could stand to lose 12 or 15 minutes, it is a really fun and informative movie to watch.

"Iron Fists and Kung Fu Flicks" is entertaining and easy to watch, but would definitely benefit from some extended time that would allow its filmmakers to present their research and their comments better.
