What fun it would be to see all those involved - including perhaps the durable Clouseau character - try something from scratch.

The final Clouseau film to star Peter Sellers, Revenge of the Pink Panther, is disappointing with repeated gags that fall flat, a too-convoluted plot and some truly troubling Asian and Italian stereotypes (even contextualizing).

Often more frantic than funny.

The film belongs to Sellers, who never fails to delight as Clouseau with his absurd pronunciations and crazy ways of doing things Perfectly underscoring his movements and those of the rest of the cast is the Henry Mancini score.
