These little details, good and bad, are the points that end up standing out about The Knight Before Christmas, as the rest of the film follows a well-worn path.

The Knight Before Christmas certainly isn’t going to win any awards this year, but that isn’t why it exists — and that’s okay. The cast looks like they’re having an excellent time; I had an excellent time watching them play out this big-hearted rom-com.

...a fairly worthless piece of work that rarely lives up to the promise of its irresistible setup.

It's a perfectly acceptable contribution to the developing Netflix Christmas romance genre.
