The Last Porno Show isn't a movie to seek out. It's not an exceptionally profound piece of storytelling, and, despite the setting, the combined elements are in the service of what is ultimately a sweet but slight story.

The Last Porno Show captures the damaging impact that fathers, even those with good intentions, can have on their sons.

The Last Porno Show never really unifies its blend of tender drama, transgressive imagery and scabrous outsider comedy... but Paputts does find something meaningful in Wayne's quest to overcome his traumatic childhood.
