“Texas Chainsaw Massacre doesn't skimp on the gore, but Leatherface may have irrevocably lost his ability to terrify.”

It's very, very, very gory, and only 81 minutes long but feels much longer.

Hey, less annoying than Halloween Kills...but it doesn't need to exist.

The original film inspired nightmares; this one makes you giggle and leaves you bored.

RTHorror Movie TalkSep 23, 2025

It’s gross, hard to watch in parts, extremely gorey, and I didn’t care about any of the characters – meaning it literally checks every single box needed to be a “passable slasher”.
