Visually palatable but as uniform and monotonously predictable as a Mr Kipling cake...

A kind of Ratatouille-meets-The Shoemaker and the Elves, by way of The Smurfs, this knockabout German animated adventure's appeal feels somewhat limited to the under-eights.

A pleasantly predictable lark that dutifully follows the strict dictates of the kid's animation genre by using high-key adventure to promote positive themes such as reconciliation and understanding.

Perfectly aimed at the youngest of audiences, this is a bright, fun German cartoon that features cute characters and a brisk, simple to follow storyline.
