Beast Beast

The film only succeeds at peddling barely tolerable coming-of-age cliches.

For all the movie's soupiness, we're still left with a handful of memorable characters at a pivotal time in their emotional development, and for that, "Beast Beast" can boast a well-intentioned, caring integrity.

It's in the push to explain a moral that it stumbles over its own good intentions.

Requires a certain level of tact that Beast Beast is thankfully capable of, even when some facets of the ideas it introduces don't always end up feeling fully explored.
