All in all, it would have been great if along with the superb action and terrific visuals, the story, too, could have packed a punch.

Dhaakad is shamelessly derivative. The storytelling is so colourless and soulless...that watching the film is equivalent to lying down on a giant block of ice on a winter’s day: it is bound to leave the body feeling cold.

Starring Kangana Ranaut and Arjun Rampal, the listless and derivative action flick is a missed opportunity.

Director Razneesh Ghai's terribly second-hand, tediously bleak take on the girls with guns genre has a voracious appetite for violence, but does not know how to make all the blood count for something.
