While it might not be breaking new ground, Aristocrats gives an intriguing glimpse into the stifling, rarefied world of girls raised to be the wives of powerful men.

...victories over sexist microaggressions and stifling expectations in setting one’s own path have a long tradition in cinema. Even if ARISTOCRATS somewhat squanders its premise, it is prime escapism with a huge heart.

Aristocrats is a compelling and inspiring story, but hopefully, one that won't need to be told for much longer.

Its relative shapelessness - shifts in perspective that aren't necessarily jarring, but unceremonious nonetheless - makes Aristocrats an unfortunately toothless endeavor.
