Think of "Superheroes" as a real-life "Kick-Ass," with more community outreach and far less acute injury.

Humorous and well-rounded. More about the problems of the world ... that lead to the necessity for these [superheroes] to pop up in cities across the nation.

Biased but fun, Mike Barnett's sympathy towards his subjects lends itself to a goofy, funny and terribly uplifting call to arms.
