All in all, there aren't too many dull moments in this sequel to the 2014 hit. It marches on with conviction to tell us a story that remains rooted in love, friendship and childhood innocence even with its futuristic escapades.

Stand By Me Doraemon 2 continues the story of Nobita and Shizuka’s future, focusing on Nobita's doubts about his ability to bring happiness to their marriage. While the time-travel plot introduces some logical inconsistencies, the emotional depth and strong message about self-worth and reflection make it a powerful sequel. This film serves as a meaningful conclusion to the Doraemon saga, showing Nobita’s growth into a mature, responsible adult. Read the full review here: (Indonesian version : alunauwie.com)
