Mahesh Narayanan's astute writing, sure-footed direction and brisk editing combined with his cast's comfort before the camera make C U Soon a remarkably pacy thriller.

There's an arc to its characters - especially Fahadh Faasil's - that humanizes both the distance and intimacy of modern technology.

C U Soon is a riveting Malayalam thriller that subverts the usual tropes attached to an entertaining film.
