Storyline

Mira Ray, dealing with the loss of her fiancé, John, sends a series of romantic texts to his old cell phone number… not realizing the number was reassigned to Rob Burns' new work phone. Rob, a journalist, is captivated by the honesty in the beautifully confessional texts. When he’s assigned to write a profile of megastar Céline Dion, he enlists her help in figuring out how to meet Mira in person and win her heart.

“Love Again ? After watching this treacly romance, you're likely to come away thinking once was more than enough.”

Love Again, believe it or not, mirrors the opera [Orpheus And Eurydice] beautifully.

It’s got a Hallmark-level plot, and in other hands, perhaps the movie could be a little charming.

It is of course Dion’s overwhelming voice and music that flood your heart, not this flimsy and occasionally morbid story.

It's a breezy romantic comedy that falls into several common and predictable traps typical of this type of film. A good lead duo, but it fails to avoid the clichés proposed. [Full Review in Spanish]
