Storyline

When his drunken ex-girlfriend won't leave him alone, a man asks a married woman staying at the same hotel to pretend to be his wife. What could go wrong? It's not like two strangers spending a weekend in a small town could possibly fall in love - Getting To Know You is a delightful love story for grownups starring Natasha Little, Rupert Penry-Jones and Rachel Blanchard.

It may be lacking in star power, but the film has a winning formula that will appeal to those seeking a grown-up romantic comedy.

Rupert Penry-Jones and Natasha Little muster up some credible chemistry as romantic leads, but the comedy side of the film falls flat.

It is rare a movie can hold so steadfastly to tropes and get away with it. This formulaic rom com does so by having leads with fantastic chemistry and a strong supporting cast.
