This compelling fantasy-adventure has all the charm and whimsy fans of the graphic-novel series and TV show will expect, but be prepared for some scariness and real sadness, too.

It all leaves me itching for more ensemble adventures, more Sparrow Scout badges, more wild creatures to meet, and ultimately, more space spent in this world I've come to love.
