"War of The Arrows" is part romantic drama, part family story and part historical action epic all underscored by a sweeping vision that is somehow both grand and grubby.

War of the Arrows is one helluva chase movie.

After humming along nicely for an hour, Korean costume spectacle "War of the Arrows" lets fly with a second half of nonstop action and excitement.

Combines the visual splendour and historical drama of Takashi Miike's 13 Assassins with the unrelenting second-half intensity of Mel Gibson's Apocalypto.
